About Me

My story is that I write stories.

Specifically, I write science fiction and fantasy with conflicted main characters who are desperately trying to find their place in worlds that just aren't made for them.

My books are about living authentically, on your own terms. Whether you're traversing the stars or navigating the sea of cryptids at your local bar, I want to recognize the work we all do to uncover our personal truths and reconcile those truths with the worlds we live in.

I'm an unapologetic extrovert and have lived many lives. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I pursued an advanced degree in political philosophy, ran a few political campaigns (won and lost), and even worked for a high-end luxury fashion brand (and sold $25,000 worth of merchandise on my first day). Now I'm a mom of two kids, active on the PTA and in community improvement organizations, and write slightly spicy fantasy that forces me to explain that my friends' kids can't read my books until they are adults.
